Current Opportunities

Store Manager- Markham/ North York

The position is a full-time permanent position. The store manager’s primary purpose is to lead the team and manage every aspect of the retail business to ensure steady profit growth. We believe that the store manager is the heart of the store and we are looking for someone who has the entrepreneurial spirit to lead the store.

Responsibilities included but not limited to;

  • Own all aspects of retail operations, including customer satisfaction, sales, budgets, and overall financial performance of the store
  • Manage labor costs through effective scheduling and floor management
  • Recruit, develop, train, and motivate a team of barista and shift leads. Maintain a healthy rooster of staff in accordance to need.
  • Responsible for the proper flow of store inventory by ensuring the inventory counts are done in a prompt and precise manner and ordering the appropriate amount of inventory.
  • Deliver high quality customer service to our customers and cultivate loyal fan customers
  • Communicate and work closely with the management team to make sure there is no gap in communication.
  • Ensures food safety standards are executed to provide high quality, safe drinks for customers
  • Completes other duties as assigned and required to meet the needs of the business

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year store leadership experience or 2 years assisting store leaderships in a retail environment ideally in food and beverage
  • Strong communication skills with excellent team management ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet.
  • Openness to learning and willingness to work hard for the better of the company.
  • A can do attitude and organize personality.
  • Flexibility in location- could be transferred to different locations for growth.
  • Multilingual capabilities (Chinese/Cantonese is a big plus)

Shift Supervisor- Management Trainee- Markham/ North York

The position is a full-time (32-40 hrs) permanent position and paid hourly. The shift supervisor’s primary purpose is to skillfully prepare beverages; upkeep storefront; and engage our customers with excellent customer service. The shift supervisor will also undergo management training and be given opportunity to learn all aspect of store management.

Upward mobility is projected quickly for the barista after demonstration of good performance. Opportunities will be given to grow into store lead and corporate head office positions upon fulfilling key performance indicators.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Completion of post-secondary education of 2 years minimum.
  • Minimum of 6 months leadership experience in volunteer or paid positions.

  • Ability to work under pressure and think on feet.

  • Openness to learning and willingness to work hard for the better of the company.

  • A can do attitude and organize personality.

  • Flexibility in location- could be transfer to different locations for growth.

  • Multilingual capabilities is a plus. (Chinese/Cantonese is a big plus)

Full-Time Barista- Markham/ North York/ Downtown

We are looking for an outgoing full time Barista with great personality to join our awesome team! This will be a full time (35-40 hours) role paid hourly.

Previous experience in a restaurant or fast-food establishment preferred but not necessary – full training is provided.

The ideal candidate is friendly and outgoing; has a sense of urgency; is neat, professional and organized. But mostly, we are looking for GREAT people skills!

Duties include: beverage and food preparation; operation of take-out POS; greeting and providing our guests with an exceptional experience.

Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team to jump start our marketing department. This person will be reporting into the Director of operations. We are looking for someone with an ability to take something and run with it independently. This is a great opportunity for those who like the exciting start up environment. The office is at Victoria Park and Steeles. 

Responsibilities included but not limited to;

  • Become our social media champion: create, post and moderate content for our Owned Social Media Channels including (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Contribute to our Brand Marketing and Campaign: ideating and implementing special projects that drive our business forward
  • Assist in development of content for weekly emails, company blog and social media platforms
  • Assist in partnership outreach and manage corporate relations.
  • Manage online reviews and respond to customer inquiries to company standards.
  • Participate in ad hoc special projects required

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • 1 year experience managing professional social media and marketing efforts. Recent graduates (specializing in Business/Commerce, Marketing) are welcomed if they meet experience requirements.
  • Have basic graphic design and/or photography skillset.
  • Worked with experiential marketing, and data analysis in a formal or volunteer capacity.
  • Possess strong communication skills that are built on active listening
  • Have the ability to think quickly, act quickly, multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
  • Be a quick thinker with good EQ
  • Always trying to come up with a better way to do something.
  • Thrives in the startup environment
  • The ideal individual will be more than comfortable speaking in front of an audience and prides themselves on attention to detail and the quality of their work. Strong performers will have the opportunity to grow within the company rapidly.
